Injustice Everywhere

Injustice Everywhere

Today-December 22, 2010-Did you know?

It was 37 years ago today(December 22, 2010) that the Federal government mandated one of the most ignored regulations in U.S. history — the 55 mile-per-hour speed limit.

The purpose of the so-called "double nickel," we were told, was to save gasoline. The country was in the midst of the "energy crisis" and forcing drivers to slow down would save millions of gallons of gasoline... or so we were promised.

Disobedience to the new rule was almost universal. For many drivers, it became a contest to see how much over the speed limit they could go before law enforcement officials would stop them for speeding. In the wide-open spaces of the West, that number approached three figures.

This "temporary" regulation was finally revoked in 1996. In the 23 years it was the law, scofflaws paid many times more money in speeding tickets to various governments than the combined savings on gasoline.

Incident Report Bad Cop: December 22, 2010- Fact or fiction?

December 22, 2010- Fact or fiction?

Human beings only have two ways to deal with one another: reason and force. If you want me to do something for you, you have a choice of either convincing me via argument, or force me to do your bidding under threat of force. Every human interaction falls into one of those two categories, without exception. Reason or force, that's it.

In a truly moral and civilized society, people exclusively interact through persuasion. Force has no place as a valid method of social interaction, and the only thing that removes force from the menu is the personal firearm, as paradoxical as it may sound to some.

When I carry a gun, you cannot deal with me by force. You have to use reason and try to persuade me, because I have a way to negate your threat or employment of force.

The gun is the only personal weapon that puts a 100-pound woman on equal footing with a 220-pound mugger, a 75-year old retiree on equal footing with a 19-year old gang banger, and a single guy on equal footing with a carload of drunk guys with baseball bats. The gun removes the disparity in physical strength, size, or numbers between a potential attacker and a defender.

There are plenty of people who consider the gun as the source of bad force equations. These are the people who think that we'd be more civilized if all guns were removed from society, because a firearm makes it easier for a [armed] mugger to do his job. That, of course, is only true if the mugger's potential victims are mostly disarmed either by choice or by legislative fiat--it has no validity when most of a mugger's potential marks are armed.

People who argue for the banning of arms ask for automatic rule by the young, the strong, and the many, and that's the exact opposite of a civilized society. A mugger, even an armed one, can only make a successful living in a society where the state has granted him a force monopoly.

Then there's the argument that the gun makes confrontations lethal that otherwise would only result in injury. This argument is fallacious in several ways. Without guns involved, confrontations are won by the physically superior party inflicting overwhelming injury on the loser.

People who think that fists, bats, sticks, or stones don't constitute lethal force watch too much TV, where people take beatings and come out of it with a bloody lip at worst. The fact that the gun makes lethal force easier works solely in favor of the weaker defender, not the stronger attacker. If both are armed, the field is level.

The gun is the only weapon that's as lethal in the hands of an octogenarian as it is in the hands of a weight lifter. It simply wouldn't work as well as a force equalizer if it wasn't both lethal and easily employable.

When I carry a gun, I don't do so because I am looking for a fight, but because I'm looking to be left alone. The gun at my side means that I cannot be forced, only persuaded. I don't carry it because I'm afraid, but because it enables me to be unafraid. It doesn't limit the actions of those who would interact with me through reason, only the actions of those who would do so by force. It removes force from the equation... and that's why carrying a gun is a civilized act.

Dana Winn two days no pay, a years probation.

December 18, 2010
Police officer Dana Winn, given two days suspension without pay as well as a year’s probation. Merry Christmas & Happy New Years Mr. Dana Winn, here’s wishing you good luck and not feeling your better than the citizens your hired to serve. After all with eleven years of service and I personally hope that all the service you have done in the past was not taking the Rights and avoiding the Constitutional Rights of other citizens. You Mr. Dana Winn as well as other servers of society may have learned to remove sun glasses from all your victims, I mean citizens that you encounter with, but even the citizens that keep a close eye on those police person’s will learn of other tricks as you do daily in order to have a good public servant and not a bad or corrupt one. I don’t believe your as poor an officer as many have written me. After all we all have those bad as well as good days. But, sir Dana Winn, your suppose to be above approach and show more calmness than citizens that may be video tapping your true colors. I as well as many have seen the lie’s that you placed in your incident report compared to what you stated on the video. As a citizen I gladly wait to see how the year of probation does work out. Hopefully, you’ll learn that just because someone will not bow down to your corruption attitude can cause you real harm. But, we as citizens as well as those that you work with will be watching you very closely! Since this was shown as a bad arrest, then I am happy to be able to state that I have never been arrested. Especially as falsely as you did. I do advise you on this years probation not to ask me to remove my sun glasses, as they will be on just to protect myself more out of protecting you. I suggest that you ask your department to send someone different as that way maybe I can see if their feeling above the law and show other citizens in the future that they are never above the law, but to protect all citizens against the corruption of power ego hungry bad officers. Always remember until the Constitution is done away with, which I am sure will be done sooner than later. That as a servant of the people your required to up hold every citizens Rights as that is why you took that OATH sir! Again have a great Christmas and good luck with your year. Right will always win out as I am a firm believer in that. John Lewis

INFORMATION CLEARING HOUSE. NEWS, COMMENTARY & INSIGHT

INFORMATION CLEARING HOUSE. NEWS, COMMENTARY & INSIGHT

How old are you...really?

... THOUGHT YOU MIGHT ENJOY THIS ...

'Someone asked the other day, 'What was your favorite fast food when you were growing up?'

'We didn't have fast food when I was growing up,' I informed him.

'All the food was slow.'
'C'mon, seriously. Where did you eat?'

'It was a place called 'at home,'' I explained. !

'Mom cooked every day and when Dad got home from work, we sat down together at the dining room table, and if I didn't like what she put on my plate I was allowed to sit there until I did like it..'

By this time, the kid was laughing so hard I was afraid he was going to suffer serious internal damage, so I didn't tell him the part about how I had to have permission to leave the table.

But here are some other things I would have told him about my childhood if I figured his system could have handled it :

Some parents NEVER owned their own house, never wore Levis, never set foot on a golf course, never traveled out of the country or had a credit card. In their later years they had something called a revolving charge card. The card was good only at Sears Roebuck . Or maybe it was Sears & Roebuck. Either way, there is no Roebuck anymore. Maybe he died.

My parents never drove me to soccer practice. This was mostly because we never had heard of soccer. I had a bicycle that weighed probably 50 pounds, and only had one speed, (slow)

We didn't have a television in our house until I was 9.

It was, of course, black and white, and the station went off the air at midnight, after playing the national anthem and a poem about God; it came back on the air at about 6 a.m. and there was usually a locally produced news and farm show on, featuring local people..

I was 11 before I tasted my first pizza, it was called 'pizza pie.'

When I bit into it, I burned the roof of my mouth and the cheese slid off, swung down, plastered itself against my chin and burned that, too. It's still the best pizza I ever had.

I never had a telephone in my room

The only phone in the house was in the living room and it was on a party line. Before you could dial, you had to listen and make sure some people you didn't know weren't already using the line.

Pizzas were not delivered to our home, but milk was.

All newspapers were delivered by boys and all boys delivered newspapers including me, six days a week It cost 7 cents a paper, of which I got to keep 2 cents + tips. I had to get up at 4am every morning. On Saturday, I had to collect the 42 cents from my customers. My favorite customers were the ones who gave him 50 cents and told him to keep the change. My least favorite customers were the ones who seemed to never be home on collection day.

If you grew up in a generation before there was fast food, you may want to share some of these memories with your children or grandchildren. Just don't blame me if they bust a gut laughing.

Growing up isn't what it used to be, is it?

MEMORIES from a friend :

My Dad is cleaning out my grandmother's house (she died in December) and he brought me an old Royal Crown Cola bottle. In the bottle top was a stopper with a bunch of holes in it.. I knew immediately what it was, but my daughter had no idea. She thought they had tried to make it a salt shaker or something. I knew it as the bottle that sat on the end of the ironing board to 'sprinkle' clothes with because we didn't have steam irons Man, I am old.

How many do you remember?

Head lights dimmer switches on the floor.
Ignition switches on the dashboard.
Heaters mounted on the inside of the fire wall.
Real ice boxes.
Pant leg clips for bicycles without chain guards.
Soldering irons you heat on a gas burner.
Using hand signals for cars without turn signals.

Older Than Dirt Quiz :

Count all the ones that you remember not the ones you were told about. Ratings at the bottom.

1. Blackjack chewing gum
2.Wax Coke-shaped bottles with colored sugar water
3. Candy cigarettes
4. Soda pop machines that dispensed glass bottles
5. Coffee shops or diners with tableside juke boxes
6. Home milk delivery in glass bottles with cardboard stoppers

fortunate])
12. Peashooters

20. Packards
21. Roller skate keys
22. Cork popguns
23.. Drive-ins
24. Studebakers

If you remembered 0-5 = You're still young
If you remembered 6-10 = You are getting older
If you remembered 11-15 = Don't tell your age,
If you remembered 16-25 = You're older than dirt!

I might be older than dirt but those memories are some of the best parts of my life.

Don't forget to pass this along!!
Especially to all your really OLD friends....

Does your can back fire? Cops around?

Van Back Fires and Cops Pull Guns an Start Shooting at It
by WaTcHeR » 03 Dec 2010, Fri 10:02 pm

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Kansas City police officers mistook a backfiring van for gunshots and shot at the van and eventually shot out the windows of their patrol car Thursday night at Interstate 435 and Gregory Boulevard.

Officers said around 6 p.m., police responded to a report of shots being fired. When two officers arrived, they heard what they believed to be shots fired in the area near a white van.

During the incident, it was discovered the sounds were not gunfire but the van backfiring.

“I was scared," said the van's driver, Thomas, who asked that his last name not be used. "I couldn’t understand why they were shooting at me."

“They thought they were being fired at and they fired toward the van," said Stacey Graves from the Kansas City Police Department. "It was later discovered, the van backfired.”

Nobody was hurt in the incident and police discovered the driver of the van was not armed.

“At first I didn’t think they were shooting at me," Thomas said. "I figured out, 'Hey, they are shooting at me.' So I got down and yelled at the top of my lungs, 'Hey, I‘m not the one shooting.' I guess they couldn‘t hear me.”

Police said the incident was under investigation. The officers are on routine paid leave.

"(I was) a block away from home, I was thinking, 'should have just left there, put the flashers on, and walked up the street,'" Thomas said. "That’s what I did."

Bentonville Bad Cop Incident Report

December 8, 2010 Update of Bentonville Bad Cop

As many may have noticed on the news or read in the newspaper this bad cop is now covering his rear by telling untruths compared to what he stated in the video. I was given a copy of the deputies Incident Report and was reading though it. What is a great lie from this bad cop is the fact that after calling me a jackass, he states he doesn’t know me and asked if I knew him. Of course not as never seen him before. Then in the incident report he remembers coming to my home and busting in the doors and windows and just making a mess of the place. Drugs were being made, as well as sold from here. I was not here at the time all this took place a few years ago. I was at work and upon arriving home I seen many sheriff’s cars and a van with a dozen officers. At the time the only person home was my older son and he was asleep as he worked nights at that time. He was arrested for having less than an ounce of weed in his room. What else if anything was found I have no idea. Since I dislike drugs of any type as well as weed then I could have cared less. I did ask if I could unlock my safe for them and take my cash out of it as I sold property in California in order to buy property up here as well as the home I now live in. I was stopped at my door and told that this is now a crime scene and I could not enter at all. I was told to come back in a couple hours and the warrant would be setting on the kitchen table. Well, of course my safe was also broken into and was in a few pieces as well as cash missing. How do I prove it? Could not until now that this one bad cop just so happen to be on that gang of raiders that broke doors that were unlocked as well as windows. Why? Because someone stated they knew my home was used for making or selling drugs. The real truth was that there was a large sum of cash in my safe. Well, cash and no drugs, so could not have been drug money? After all if drugs were being sold as well as made then they could have used some of the cash for evidence and taken it to raid some other property to steal. Oh and now I am also a member of a gang as well and that is a good one as I worked all my life at many different jobs to save and support my family as most men do. But, the incident report states this bad cop now knows me, and because of the video is covering his bases with the people that I allowed to stay here for a period of time. Also noted in the incident report is that I lied and said that the subject never lived here. That gave him cause to call me a liar? I know the subject and stated he no longer lives here because he is wanted. I do not have to give out any known address or phone numbers. Besides that I don’t even know my own phone number as it is always in my pocket. The jail even said I had to come up with a phone number or I would not be released. I said I can give them all the numbers that they wish by getting my cell phone. Nope, were not going to get your cell phone. I have my ex wife number as she never changes her number in California and gave that number as only number I could remember. With cell phones today, you have no need to remember numbers as you put a name and you know who your calling. Guess I best start remembering phone numbers as well as address. As for the subject and I was talking slow as if all his training showed I knew something. If I had no phone number in jail then how in the hell would I know the phone number of one of my grand son’s friends. What a dirty low lying cop this guy is! Even after speaking to his brother as well as a friend that also told this officer that the subject no longer lives here, and because he heard movement in the house that made him think the subject was in the house. Two minutes for me to come outside? Yea right. More like five if not longer. Lying because I had to think of the answer’s. Well, buddy bad cop, when you reach my age and you have been around as many dirty low life cops as me, then you will also think and wonder what this crook is up to. As I stated if I had no camera then how could I have shown you’re a bad cop? But, you could have shown all your lie’s to be true and nothing at all that I could do about it. That is why there is no respect for bad cops as there is way too many like you out there! As for Ricky Mr. Dirty cop he is mentally challenged as well on ssi all his life. With all your eleven plus years of training I can see now why a mentally challenged person was shot by another of your deputies on I-540 out of fear that it was someone you were also searching for. Training sir? There needs to be a lot more training as I see you as a power hungry abusive bad cop! You have no training what so ever as to the rights of citizens or even follow the Constitution of the United States in which you swore to up hold for all citizens. I also stated bad cop that I knew the subject and now your telling a lie in this incident report that I lied and said I did not know him. Bad cop I suggest you listen to the video again. Your words are really something else on paper here compared to what you stated on video. Sounds to me like you have done this many times before and now trying to turn it around as if I lied. Really, if I know the brother and others know then of course I also know. As I stated and have stated many times in the video I have no reason to assist in your job, I have no reason to tell you a damn thing. I asked you to depart my property and that I have nothing else to say. You sir bad cop felt that I was just another rights believer and you were going to make me bow to your every whim. You have run into someone that bows to no dirty cop. Maybe this fat old man is not very polite, but anyone and I mean anyone that comes on to my property has no right to ask me who lives here. I also know the law if I assist or hide or help anyone that any police officer wants can arrest me for harboring as well as Obstruction of justice. But, because I wish to remain quiet and not to speak to a bad cop that feels I am a jackass then continues to abuse my rights on my property as well as call me a liar and make a false arrest to teach me to speak to you in the matter as you requested by taking me to your county jail. I have been in worst places my friend and when I left Viet Nam I said I fought for my rights as an American. I was spit upon and called bay killer and all sorts of great stuff. But, like hell if I am going to take that crap from a bad cop! I stated I knew nothing about your subject, and you twist that into that I said I did not know him? Really, your something else. Oh, and I was buying time now for your subject to escape? Very interesting after speaking to two subjects already that stated they know he was no longer living here. You were joking with Ricky about some comedy show from what I can make out from the video. Real concerned and joking around bad cop. Sounds like it for sure. You liar! Oh by the way officer bad cop, there were no one else in the house as you think. We were all outside when I came out! I have a cat that plays in the house and she is a big cat and does make noise. But doesn’t play video games. I knowingly impaired your ability to catch this subject? Really, now how did I do that bad cop? Oh your training showed you that I was not telling the truth. So, Mr. Bad cop you decide who is telling you the truth and have no real reason to honestly know if I was or not. I feel you knew I was telling the truth and you were upset because I addressed you Mr. Or Officer instead of whatever it was you wanted. You were being a bully and wanting to show how your able to push old men around and do as you wish. Now, I was setting you up with the video? Bad cop I have so many e-mails from people that know you that your going to be surprised in the very near future. Do you remember those other’s that you bullied by any change? I will gladly refresh that memory of yours in the near future! Again thanks for letting me know you were one of those bad cops that destroyed my new home as you did. Only took a few years, but when you bad cops step into it, you really step into it!
